A bride told me once that she prayed for the right photographer. It's also on my heart to pray for every couple, their wedding, marriage and my work God.

It's the day you've been looking forward to for a long time, the day of which you may have dreamed as a little girl and the day about which you'll talk your whole life. Maybe you're in the midst of planning and you look forward to do everything the way you've always imagined. And then you find yourself sighing in secret for a second "It is only one Day" when you look at the extent of preparations. I have been there. But then I quickly remembered: "It is the celebration where the Lord did his first miracle and it's the celebration we will celebrate in heaven." If we feel alike I know you're looking forward with excitement to your great day but at the same time you consider carefully in which details you want to invest the most of your time and money.
One thing was clear to me from the beginning: Our wedding pictures are of unmeasurable significance for me. And our photographer, who is also a dear friend of ours, had our full trust. As we look back now we are so grateful for choosing her because we enjoyed her presence and the whole experience so much. We trusted her without a worry and now, months and years later,  we are able to refresh our memories with the help of the most beautiful pictures (here a little insight).
My husband once said, "Well, if I had chosen a photographer, it would have turned out differently, I'm so happy about our pictures." Yes, there are more important things in the world for sure, but have you ever talked to a couple that regrets having underestimated the true value of their wedding pictures? (One reason, not the best, for an after-wedding shoot.) Since I experienced so many weddings as photographer or guest before my own wedding, I was aware of the importance of photos. I was aware of how fast my own wedding day would be over. The moment when Ibrahim saw me for the first time ... then we stand face to face promising each other our unconditional faithfulness ... and suddenly it was time to say goodbye and thank our guests for that wonderful day. I couldn't fully grasp every moment but I have been able to experience every minute with undivided attention. The memories in my head are so vivid. Nevertheless, I have opened our photo book countless times to re-experience the feelings and again and again discover new details. I am simply pleased with the beauty of the pictures and proudly show them to our guests. And every year the value of our pictures increases ... (Thank you, Simone!)

I am grateful to be able to say in retrospect that I have been able to capture every moment of the day - not fully grasp, but - with undivided attention, so that my memories of it are very much alive. Nevertheless, I have taken countless times our photo album in hand, have revived the feelings, again and again discovered new details, I am simply pleased with the beauty of the pictures or proudly shown to our guests.
