(One reason, if not the best, for an after-wedding shoot.)Since I was allowed to photograph or witness many weddings before my own wedding, I was aware of the importance of photos. I was aware of how fast my own wedding day would be over. The moment when Ibrahim saw me for the first time ... and then we faced each other and promised each other the lifelong fidelity ... and suddenly it was already time for the words of thanks to our guests after a wonderful celebration. I am grateful to be able to say in retrospect that I have been able to capture every moment of the day - not fully grasp, but - with undivided attention, so that my memories of it are very much alive. Nevertheless, I have taken countless times our photo album in hand, have revived the feelings, again and again discovered new details, I am simply pleased with the beauty of the pictures or proudly shown to our guests.
